THE BATTLE LORDS
OF THE
TWILIGHT CITADEL

The concept of a Middle Tennessee group was organized in 1989 by Jocelyn McDonald (Creiddayladd Wren Glyn-du) and David Peters (Thirander Celebcuangren Luinel Taurentum-Romen), along with other college students sharing the same interest in the sport. Jocelyn introduced the battlegame to the people of Clarksville, TN in 1990. David Peters and Newton Moore (Anton DeCourtney) then expanded the group to Nashville. Dur-Demarion became incorporated as a non-profit organziation in 1994. The corporation is headed by a Board of Directors and run by all active members of Dur-Demarion.

At this time Dur-Demarion encompasses most of Middle Tennessee and includes nine counties. The origins of Dur-Demarion are in DorImlad [translated: Land of High Valleys] (Montgomery Co.) The Realm also includes Darkpine (Davidson Co.), Wendland (Dickson Co.), Chatham (Cheatham Co.), the Great Forest (Robertson & Sumner Co.), Athis (Williamson Co.) and Southern Marches (Wilson & Rutherford Co.). Dur-Demarion welcomes anyone wishing to participate in Dagorhir to join us at our weekly battle practice in Nashville. Battle practice is held every Sunday at 12p.m. at Elmington Park, located on West End (Hwy 70) at the 440 bypass. (Click here to see us and get directions on MapQuest). There are currently two annual events held by Dur-Demarion: Beltaine, held in the spring and Autumn Equinox, held in the fall. These two events most commonly take place over an extended weekend (Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun) at Montgomery Bell State Park in White Bluff, TN. These events usually have plenty of great fighting and a grand feast held on Saturday night. Dates for these events will be announced.
