First Practice?
Your adventure begins this Sunday at Elmington Park.
We’re Nashville’s full-contact medieval foam combat community. Every Sunday, we train, fight, laugh, and build a fun, friendly community open to all experience levels.
Everything is completely free, and you don’t need gear or training to join.
We’ll walk you through everything and provide you with weapons and shields.
Have questions? We have answers!
What to Expect at your First Practice?
We Provide Beginner Gear: You can borrow foam weapons and shields so you can jump right in.
One of our experienced fighters will teach you the rules and fight with you until you are comfortable enough to enter the battle field!
You can fight as much or as little as you want. Even if that amount is zero, come hang out and say hello.
Is It Safe?
Yes! We use:
Padded weapons, which are checked each Sunday.
Safety Marshals who ensure the battlefield stays safe and fun.
Controlled attacks, no headshots allowed.
What are the rules?
We keep the rules simple so people can jump right in.
Two hits and you are out.
Limb hits disable that limb.
Arm hit - you can’t use that arm
Leg hit - kneel or stay stuck
Body hits eliminate you in 1 shot
No head or neck shots allowed
The rules are a bit more complicated than that, but we will teach you specifics on the field, or you can read them here.
